New Playgym

Lyrics

It was Friday afternoon
And the clock said half past three
I heard the school bell ring
I knew where I wanted to be

I ran all the way didn’t stop
Just couldn’t wait to get in
Gonna spend my weekend home
Playing on my new playgym.

CHORUS
Slippery dip, slippery di
Monkey bar hanging facing the sky
Swinging down low, swinging up high
On my new playgym happy am I.

My Dad likes to play on it too
He’s really just a big boy
He loves it just like me
So we share our big green toy.

CHORUS

I love to swing on the rings
And hear the squeak of the swing
It makes my tummy tickle inside
Playing on my new playgym.

CHORUS

Red Balloon

Lyrics

She was playing with her red balloon
Tossing it up into the air
Throwing and kicking and
Blowing and punching and
Running and jumping and
Skipping and putting it
Onto her head

It was the best friend she ever had
She never seemed to ever get tired of
Throwing and kicking and
Blowing and punching and
Running and jumping and
Skipping and putting it
Onto her head

But balloons have a very short life
She didn’t do anything wrong
But sad my friend I have to say
At 12 o’clock on the very next day
Her balloon went – BANG!

Why Don’t We

Lyrics

Why don’t we jump jump jump
Jump in the air air air?
Why don’t we squash squash squash
Squash in a chair chair chair?
Why don’t we bend bend bend
Bend at the knees knees knees?
Why don’t we stand up tall
Tall as the trees trees trees?

Why don’t we walk walk walk
Walk down the street street street?
Why don’t we stamp stamp stamp
Stamp with our feet feet feet?
Why don’t we drive drive drive
Drive in a car car car?
Why don’t we fly fly fly
Fly to a star star star?

Why don’t we dive dive dive
Dive in a pool pool pool?
Why don’t we swim swim swim
Get nice and cool cool cool?
Why don’t we scrub scrub scrub
Scrub in the bath bath bath?
Why don’t we giggle and grin
Have a good laugh laugh laugh?

Green Green Green

Lyrics

Outside the world is a cool shade of green
The grass and the trees are a sight to be seen
The sheep and the cows are munching away
Grass in their tummies at the end of the day
Grass in their tummies at the end of the day and it’s

CHORUS
Green green green green all around
The leaves on the trees the grass on the ground
Green green green green all around
The leaves on the trees the grass on the ground

Some people never never go out to play
They sit watching telly for the whole of the day
They never climb a tree or go for a ride
They stay in the house and they never go outside
They stay in the house and they never go outside
To where it’s

CHORUS

It’s nice to play with playdough, it’s nice to play with trains
Or even watch a video when it’s pouring with rain
It’s nice to play with lego when the weather’s not so fine
But it’s nice to go outside when the sun starts to shine
It’s nice to go outside when the sun starts to shine
To where it’s

CHORUS (repeated)
The leaves on the trees the grass on the ground
The leaves on the trees the grass on the ground
