Lyrics

Green is the colour of the grass in the field
Green is the colour of the peas in the pod
Green is the colour of Jackie’s eyes
Green is the colour of my fishing rod.

Red is the colour of the traffic light
Red is the colour of my blood inside
Red is the colour of my sister’s hair
Red is the colour of the bike I ride.

Yellow is the colour of the morning sun
Yellow is the colour of scrambled eggs
Yellow is the colour of my dressing gown
Yellow is the colour of my brother’s legs!

Lyrics

Yellow banana squash on the ground
Yellow banana, yellow banana
Man in pyjama slip and fall down
Man in pyjama, man in pyjama

Man gets banana spread over pyjama
And all through his clean hair he washed only
Yesterday with shampoo with with shampoo

Yellow banana squash on the ground
Yellow banana, yellow banana
Man in pyjama slip and fall down
Man in pyjama, man in pyjama
