Lyrics

CHORUS
Some people do walk
Some people do run
Some people just talk
And sit out in the sun
Whichever you choose to do every day it will
Take all of your blues, and chase them away
Chase them away

Every morn just after dawn
Sun rises up a new day is born
Leaves are a’fallin first day of May
I think to myself it’s a very good day

CHORUS

Most people know where they’d rather be
Some live in the city, I like the sea
I walk every morning down on the sand
I like to do that, it’s a very good plan

CHORUS

Running On The Spot

Lyrics

I can run as fast as you (x3)
Running on the spot
Puff, puff, puff, puff ……..

I can jump as high as you (x3)
Jumping on the spot.
Jump, jump, jump, jump….

I can stamp as hard as you (x3)
Stamping on the spot.
Stamp, stamp, stamp, stamp…

I’m as tired as tired as you (x3)
Think I’ll take a rest.

Lyrics

CHORUS
I like to run – Monday
I like to run – Tuesday
I like to run – Wednesday
I like to run - Friday
I like to run – Saturday
I like to run – Sunday
I like to run.

Down the road, here I go
Up the hill. nice and slow
Across the field where flowers grow
I can run like a superhero.

CHORUS

Its’s early morn, the sky is blue
I think I know what I will do
I’ll step outside in the morning dew
And try out my new running shoes.

So I set off to run down to the sea
Puffing and panting tired as can be
Sprinted out to the end of the jetty
Guess who was there – Steve Monaghetti!

CHORUS
