Lyrics
CHORUS (twice)
Where’s your bag Dad your bag?
You left your bag Dad in Baghdad
I took a little trip on a jumbo
Down to the Persian Gulf
I drove across Iraq I drove across Iran
I haven’t seen the bag since then
CHORUS
O tell me tell me tell me where I left it
Give me just a little clue
I’ve never been so sad I’ve never felt so bad
So tell me what can I do?
CHORUS
I think I just remembered where I left it
Stuffed in the boot of the car
The bag’s in the back, the car’s in Iraq
But I’m in Australia
CHORUS (twice)
Green Green Green

Lyrics
Outside the world is a cool shade of green
The grass and the trees are a sight to be seen
The sheep and the cows are munching away
Grass in their tummies at the end of the day
Grass in their tummies at the end of the day and it’s
CHORUS
Green green green green all around
The leaves on the trees the grass on the ground
Green green green green all around
The leaves on the trees the grass on the ground
Some people never never go out to play
They sit watching telly for the whole of the day
They never climb a tree or go for a ride
They stay in the house and they never go outside
They stay in the house and they never go outside
To where it’s
CHORUS
It’s nice to play with playdough, it’s nice to play with trains
Or even watch a video when it’s pouring with rain
It’s nice to play with lego when the weather’s not so fine
But it’s nice to go outside when the sun starts to shine
It’s nice to go outside when the sun starts to shine
To where it’s
CHORUS (repeated)
The leaves on the trees the grass on the ground
The leaves on the trees the grass on the ground
The Walking Song

Lyrics
CHORUS
Some people walk with a wiggle and a woggle and
Some people walk with a bend in the middle and
Some people walk with their toes turning in and
Other people walk with their bottoms sticking out
One pussy cat meiows like another cat
One puppy doggy barks like another dog
But when it comes to people I know
Some walk fast and some walk slow –
But no-one walks the same ‘cos
CHORUS
Two ladies may have curly moustaches
Two men may both have false teeth and glasses
Two boys may sing sweet songs in a choir
Two girls may jump and one may jump higher –
But no-one walks the same ‘cos
CHORUS
One hairy leg looks just like another leg
One scrambled egg tastes just like another egg
But when it comes to people I know
Some walk fast and some walk slow –
But no-one walks the same ‘cos
CHORUS

Standing On A Bus
Apple | Spotify | YouTube | Amazon
Lyrics
Have you ever seen a man
Standing on one leg
While standing on a bus?
Have you ever seen a man
Having a cup of tea
Standing on one leg
While standing on a bus?
Have you ever seen a man
Shaking a tambourine
Having a cup of tea
Standing on one leg
While standing on a bus?
Have you ever seen a man
Shaving off his beard
Shaking a tambourine
Having a cup of tea
Standing on one leg
While standing on a bus?
Have you ever seen a man
Washing his dirty hair
Shaving off his beard
Shaking a tambourine
Having a cup of tea
Standing on one leg
While standing on a bus?
Have you ever seen a man
Playing a game of ping-pong
Washing his dirty hair
Shaving off his beard
Shaking a tambourine
Having a cup of tea
Standing on one leg
While standing on a bus?
You haven’t? – either have I
Cats

Lyrics
If a man has one cat
And another one comes to stay
How many cats
Are there in his house today?
Two pussy cats, two pussy cats
Two pussy cats, two pussy cats
Another cat scratches on the door
The man lets him in
The cat says, “Awfully good old you old chap”
And licks him on the chin
Three pussy cats, three pussy cats
Three pussy cats, three pussy cats
A little bit later on
Two more cats appear
A tabby one and a stray
The man gives them an ice cold beer and that makes
Five pussy cats, five pussy cats
Five pussy cats, five pussy cats
Lyin’ on the kitchen floor
Meiow, meiow…
Four cats jump up
And run away chasing a mouse
So how many cats
Are there still left in this house?
One pussy cat, one pussy cat
One little pussy cat, a little bitty pussy cat
Lyin’ on the kitchen floor
Meiow, meiow, meiow
I Dreamed I Could Fly
Apple | Spotify | YouTube | Amazon
Lyrics
I dreamed I could fly like a bird in the sky
So easy it was but I never wondered why
How I could glide so high
It seemed, I hardly needed to try
On a street near the place where as a child I used to be
Time has past but the memory stays with me
I dreamed I flew in the street
I played when I was very young
Make Up A Tune
Apple | Spotify | YouTube | Amazon
Lyrics
CHORUS 1
It’s just me here in this room
Trying to make, make up a tune
That I can sing and play
Strum on my guitar
Wherever you are
Maybe you can sing too
VERSE 1
When you make up a song
And people singalong
It makes the song sound a whole lot better
There is nothin’ so good
And everybody should
Sing loud and sing together
CHORUS 1
VERSE 2
I’ve done this so many times
Written clever rhymes
Some are good but some are better
Do the words come first, or maybe just the reverse
Well I don’t really know the answer
CHORUS 2
It’s just him here in this room
Trying to make, make up a tune
That he can sing and play
Strum on his guitar
Wherever you are
Maybe you can sing too
The Princess and The Pea
Apple | Spotify | YouTube | Amazon
Lyrics
How will the prince ever really know?
How can he be sure that she’s a princess
How will the prince ever really know?
Well there is a test it has been said
Before she sleeps put a pea on her bed
Then 20 mattresses, 20 feather pillows
The girl will lie on a bed so high
And if she’s a princess if she’s real
With her delicate skin she will feel
Under mattress and pillow, the pea in the bed
And try to sleep, but stay awake instead
A prince would then know that she’s a princess
He would be sure, no need to know more
Just one thing left to do as in fairy tales true
Marry her and live happily for ever more
Harry Houdini
Apple | Spotify | YouTube | Amazon
Lyrics
CHORUS
Harry Houdini the escapologist
He could escape from almost anything and
As he escaped, crowds watched and gaped and wondered
How did he do it, nobody knew it
Suspended in a straight jacket above a busy city street
Chains around his ankles hanging upside down
He freed himself in minutes with skeleton keys and lock picks
Crowds below him stood where they could see
People were amazed and shook their heads in wonder
CHORUS
In the year of 1910 at the height of his fame
Houdini came to Melbourne, for the one and only time
And on February 17, as he was locked up in chains
A crowd of 20,000 people watched him
Jump from the Queens Bridge in to the Yarra river
CHORUS
People watched in wonder at all the things they saw
Unlike any magician they’d ever seen before
And whether tied in ropes, straight jacket or chained
Houdini could just never, ever be restrained
CHORUS
Harry Houdini the escapologist
He could escape from almost anything and
As he escaped, crowds watched and gaped and wondered
How did he do it, nobody knew it
Harry Houdini the escapologist
The Elves and the Shoemaker
Apple | Spotify | YouTube | Amazon
Lyrics
CHORUS
Shoemaker shoemaker stitch by hand
You make the finest shoes in the land
Stitch and sow with utmost care
Shoemaker will you make me a pair
SPOKEN
There was once a poor, but very fine shoemaker
He worked and worked, but times were hard and
There came a day when he had only enough leather
To make just the one pair of shoes
He cut out the leather and went to bed
‘I’ll make the shoes in the morning,’ the shoemaker said
He got up early but was surprised to find
Two new shoes there before his very eyes
‘Wife, come quickly’, look what I’ve found
How could this have happened I heard no sound
These beautiful shoes I could not have sowed
Any better than this, a thankyou is owed’
He sold the shoes that very morning
And what’s more for double the price.
The customer was thrilled with his new shoes
So the shoemaker bought enough leather for 2 pairs of shoes.
And cut out the leather that same night
In the morning the shoemaker and his wife found 4 shoes on the bench.
This continued each night, the more leather he left,
the more finished shoes he found in the morning.
And so beautifully sowed that everyone wanted to buy a pair.
But the shoemaker and his wife wanted to know
who was making the shoes so they could thank them.
They decided to stay up and keep watch.
At midnight 2 tiny elves entered the shop,
sat on the work bench, and taking all the leather
the shoemaker had left, stitched and stitched
until all the leather had been sewn in to shoes.
And then they departed, as quietly as they’d arrived.
The shoemaker and his wife were astonished.
They’d noticed that the elves' feet were bare
so the shoemaker decided to make 4 tiny shoes
from the best and softest leather he could buy, and his wife,
2 pairs of breeches, 2 coats, 2 frilled shirts and 2 green caps
They worked all through the day and by evening they’d finished,
setting out the new clothes on the work bench, then hiding so they could keep watch.
At exactly midnight the elves crept into the shop, and shouted with delight when they saw the clothes.
They put them on and danced and sang, as happy as any 2 elves could possibly be.
The shoemaker and his wife never saw the elves again but they’d been lucky,
and the shoes the shoemaker made, continued to sell well.
They were never poor again and lived long and very happy lives.
CHORUS
Shoemaker shoemaker stitch by hand
You make the finest shoes in the land
Stitch and sow with utmost care
Shoemaker will you make me a pair
On a Day Like This

Lyrics
On a day like this when there’s an azure sky
I love to wander, slowly, walk down, to the sea
And watch the waves roll in as people stroll on by
On a perfect January summers day
And when the sun is hot I love to swim and watch the dolphins
Further out to sea...passing by
On a day like this when there’s an azure sky
I love to wander slowly down...to the sea
Seagulls in the sky, I watch them fly on by
As they circle round, drift easy in the breeze
Blackfaced cormorants sitting on the rocks
Tiny plovers, little birds walk on the sand
How lovely to be down here on the beach I think I may just
Take a little swim...that’s an excellent plan
Seagulls in the sky, I watch them fly on by
Circling round and round in the breeze
Summer days or winter time the heat and then the cold
Think I’ll always come and stay, stay until I’m old
When I’m here I feel so free and every single day for me
Walking down beside the sea, the perfect place to be
The perfect place for me to be is by the sea
On a day like this when there’s an azure sky
I love to wander, slowly, walk down, to the sea
And watch the waves roll in as people stroll on by
On a perfect January summers day
And when the sun is hot I love to swim and watch the dolphins
Further out to sea...passing by
On a day like this when there’s an azure sky
I love to wander slowly down...to the sea
Every day for me by the sea

Lyrics
I dream I can fly like a bird in the sky
So easy it is but I never wonder why
How I can glide so high

I look down on rooftops and the trees as I fly
Butterflies and flowers I slowly pass them by
I fly to the moon and then
It seems I’m just floating in my dreams
They Got It Right Vegemite
Apple | Spotify | YouTube | Amazon
Lyrics
In 1923 a young chemist called Dr Cyril P Callister, developed a smooth spreadable vegetable paste from brewers yeast, with lots of Vitamin B in it. It tasted unusual, but good. And he thought, “I cannot waste this appealing taste"...
So a prize was offered of fifty pounds
To find a name a name that sounds
Fresh unique, and easy to remember
Any time of year winter or December
Don’t know who it was but they got it right
Came up with the name Vegemite
I was talking to a friend just the other day
We took a little walk he had a lot to say
About the 50 pounds and he did claim
Who won the competition and gave it the name
Whoever it was they got it right
Came up with the name, Vegemite
For many years now it’s been the national dish
All who like it think it’s delish
But if you haven’t tried some, take my advice
Cos on a piece of toast it’s very very nice
Whoever it was they got it right
Came up with the name, Vegemite
They got it right, Vegemite
But...some find the taste a bit of a drama
A famous one was Barrack Obama
He tried some but, just had to admit
He did not like it, one little bit
